Student and teachers profile 

 SocialDesk allows members (students and teachers) to create their very own profile online. Members can then customize their profile pages with their own design and choice of widgets. SocialDesk’s customizable nature allows your school to define its own profile questions.

Discussion Forum 

 SocialDesk’s forum brings the entire school community into one place where they can share their thoughts on important and not so important topics and giving control to site admins and moderators with the power to manage the forums

Full Control 

 SocialDesk allows you to have full control over your school’s social network. With SocialDesk you can:
1. ban user names upon registration
2. ban emails upon registration
3. ban display name upon registration
4. ban IP addresses
5. filter naughty word

Events 

 With SocialDesk you can publish school events and track RSVPs.
SocialDesk allows you to keep your members up-to-date with the ability to mass email all of members or only the invited ones. Events can be used not only for student’s events, but also teachers’ meetings.

Photos and Videos 

 Members can upload photos to a public gallery or to their own set of photo albums. Automatically present your members with the option to embed your branded photo slideshows or video players anywhere on the Web, with a link back to SocialDesk Network

Active Community 

SocialDesk gives your school the unique platform to allow teachers and students interaction even outside the classroom. For example, when students face difficulty on their assignments or projects they can post it online, where they can expect help from their teachers or even their peers!

Chat & Private Messaging 

SocialDesk provides real-time chat capability with online members and private messaging as well. This is a very useful tool that your school can leverage on to build an Online Counselling Facility, whereby students can login and chat or private message counsellors.

Groups 

Teachers can create groups on SocialDesk with images, memberships, comments and a dedicated discussion forum. Group members then have the ability to easily collaborate among each other.
Typical groups would include Classes in the school, CCA and special interest groups.
